Our Services

Comprehensive Eye Exams
  • A comprehensive eye exam consists of two main components. The first is focused on checking vision and determining the best vision correction options including glasses and contacts. The second component is checking the health of the eyes. This includes checking eye pressure and examining the front and inside of the eyes, as well as the eyelids and eyelashes. During a comprehensive eye exam, our optometrists are able to detect conditions such as: refractive error, strabismus, amblyopia, glaucoma, cataracts, macular disease, and retinopathy. Each of these can have an impact on vision and daily life. It is important to have an annual comprehensive eye exam in order to maintain good vision and ocular health.
Pediatric Eye Exams
  • A pediatric eye exam is similar to an adult comprehensive eye exam but it differs in that there are additional tests done to check eye functions that are crucial for children to master while young. These include: eye alignment, eye teaming, depth perception, and focusing power. If any of these is not efficient, it can hinder a child's ability to learn and succeed in school. The American Optometric Association recommends a comprehensive eye exam at age 6 months, 3 years, 5 years and every year thereafter. Early detection of vision and eye conditions is the key to providing the best outcomes.
Routine and Specialty Contact Lenses
  • Contact lenses can provide clear vision without the hassle of glasses. Many patients may choose to opt into getting contact lenses as a personal preference. Other times specialty contact lenses are recommended by an optometrist in order to provide the best vision and long term outcomes for a patient. Specialty contact lenses can be life changing for individuals who are unable to attain functional vision with the use of routine glasses or contacts.
LASIK & Cataract Surgery Co-management
  • LASIK and other vision correcting surgeries can be a good option for some patients. During a comprehensive eye exam or LASIK consult appointment an optometrist can discuss these options with a patient and answer any questions. If a patient chooses to pursue such surgeries, our optometrists can provide the pre-operative and post-operative care in a comfortable environment.
